Hi! My name is Ashley Morris. I’m raising money for my mom, Elaine Morris. As some of you may already know, she has recently received the devastating diagnosis of large cell carcinoma lung cancer that has spread to multiple lymph nodes deep into her chest cavity and neck. 90% of the time, this type of cancer is found in current and former smokers and less than 10% of cases are seen in never-smokers like my mom. So, to say this comes as a shock would be an understatement. As anyone who has been personally touched by cancer knows, the financial burden can be astronomical and overwhelming. My hope is to relieve some of this burden by raising money from the community she has loved and served as a hair stylist for more than forty years. Being that the career that she loves so much provides her with no health insurance, paid time off, or 401k, any donation will be greatly appreciated. Please help me help my mom!
