Elaine, a well-known and beloved member of our community, is currently fighting stage 4 colon cancer. Despite her diagnosis, Elaine remains strong and determined.

While her first surgery in November was successful, the cancer unfortunately persists. She will require additional treatments and potential surgeries in the coming months, all of which will necessitate a move to Virginia for closer family support.

For over 20 years, she’s opened her heart and home to children in need, providing them with love, safety, and a sense of belonging.

Beyond her family, Elaine has dedicated her life to serving others. From leading the PTA and crafting costumes for school plays to building homes in Mexico and creating COVID-19 relief packages in Playa del Carmen, her compassion knows no bounds.
