Hello everyone,

As many of you know, my colon ruptured and I almost lost my life to sepsis 5 months ago. I thankfully survived and am able to be recovering. I am extremely grateful to have got to enjoy my summer.

Unfortunately, Yesterday 8/6 my colon ruptured again. After already going through this experience once prior I was able to catch it and get medical attention quickly. I have already received one surgery, and am scheduled to receive another tomorrow, 8/9. The cause for both is still being investigated by my surgical team.

I never imagined I’d be in this situation again, let alone so soon. I’m now facing another major surgery, a long hospital stay, and an extended recovery period that will take me away from work, my animals, and the life I’ve fought so hard to return to.

Asking for help is not something that comes easily for me, however this is more than I can handle on my own. The weight is extremely overwhelming. Any form of support it’s immensely appreciated and will go directly toward my medical expenses and surgical costs, recovery and rehab care

and basic living expenses while I’m unable to work.

If you’re not able to support, sharing this would mean the world to me. I’m fighting with everything I’ve got to heal, rebuild, and reclaim my life for the 2nd time. I am so incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement from everyone.
