Dear friends, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT! We are so grateful and blessed thanks to your generosity we are more than halfway there for our stables!

Materials are being bought already, and we have adjusted our goal -- we expect with just one more bump of another $630USD we can complete the stable construction project!! We were fortunate to have a better exchange rate these past 2 weeks, and we are so excited to know that our boys will soon be living in their new stables!

Hey friends! Thanks for taking the time to read my Go Fund Me on behalf of my dear friends, Stephanie and Sam, and their daughters Cheyenne and Zoe! Hopefully you'll find it in your heart to chip in to help!

Last year we did a fundraiser for El Rancho Evergreen, a magical place located just outside of San Cristobal de las Casas, in the state of Chiapas, Mexico after a horrific fire struck the sanctuary.

One of the two lodgings for their guests was destroyed, along with the volunteers' living quarters, all of the tools used to keep the farm running, and 2 years' worth of saved dried lumber for the new horse stables.

Thanks to so many kind donors near and far, we were able to raise almost half of our goal, and with this money the ranch has been able to recuperate and survive, but we are hoping to do one step better in this difficult time.

This year, the ranch had to survive 2 unprecedented harsh climate changes that affected the valley where the horses live. First - an unprecedented frost! This, followed by 7 months of drought. After the pastures were burnt by frost, they withered and could not grow back due to the lack of water. All springs and wells went dry; therefore the budget and plan to build the 7 stalls that they have not been able to make, like the ones that they built last year for the mares, had to be spent on buying enough water and decent feed for their 13 horses to be sustained through the many harsh months.

We come to you in the hope that you can give a hand with the construction of simple yet life-changing stalls for 7 horses that stand in mud during the rainy season and under blasting sun during the dry season due to lack of adequate stable space. The climate has been unkind to say the least, it's been especially crippling as far as their budget originally planned for these stalls.

El Rancho Evergreen is a small horse ranch / sanctuary where 13 horses live, and is nestled deep in the woods, on a 100-acre reserve. Family run by Sam, Stephanie, and their daughters Cheyenne and Zoe. Unfortunately, in 2020, Sam (an original horseman / horse whisperer) his entire life, was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and cannot walk. He continues to quarterback, while Steph and the girls run the ranch with hired help and a couple of work-aways from time to time.

Their goal is to share their passion for horses by teaching people, with the help of the horses, how to better understand and communicate with them, establishing a partnership that leads to a fully connected way of riding. Body and mind of horse and human are connected into moving together in harmony. Some of their horses were born on the ranch and raised their entire lives in this paradise, others were rescued. All enjoy freedom of spirit and movement in an idealistic setting.

El año pasado hicimos una recaudación de fondos para El Rancho Evergreen, un lugar mágico ubicado en las afueras de San Cristóbal de las Casas, en el estado de Chiapas, México, después de que un terrible incendio azotara el santuario.

Uno de los dos alojamientos para sus invitados fue destruido, junto con las viviendas de los voluntarios, todas las herramientas utilizadas para mantener la granja en funcionamiento y dos años de madera seca guardada para los nuevos establos de caballos.

Gracias a tantos amables donantes cercanos y lejanos, pudimos recaudar casi la mitad de nuestra meta y con este dinero el rancho ha podido sobrevivir, pero esperamos dar un paso más en este momento difícil.

Este año, el rancho tuvo que sobrevivir a dos duros cambios climáticos sin precedentes que afectaron el valle donde viven los caballos. Primero: ¡una helada sin precedentes! A esto le siguieron 7 meses de sequía. Después de que las heladas quemaran los prados de pasto, se marchitaron y no pudieron volver a crecer debido a la falta de agua. Todos los manantiales y pozos se secaron; por lo tanto, el presupuesto y el plan para construir los 7 establos muy necesarios que no han podido hacer, como los que construyeron el año pasado para las yeguas, tuvieron que gastarse en comprar suficiente agua y alimento decente para que sus 13 caballos pudieran mantenerse durante los muchos meses difíciles.

Acudimos a usted con la esperanza de que pueda ayudar en la construcción de establos sencillos pero que les cambien la vida a 7 caballos que permanecen en el barro durante la temporada de lluvias y bajo un sol abrasador durante la estación seca debido a la falta de espacio adecuado en los establos. El clima ha sido, cuanto menos, desagradable, especialmente paralizante en lo que respecta al presupuesto previsto originalmente para estos puestos.

El Rancho Evergreen es un pequeño rancho/santuario de caballos donde viven 13 caballos y está ubicado en lo profundo del bosque, en una reserva de 100 acres. Dirigido por una familia por Sam, Stephanie y sus hijas Cheyenne y Zoe. Desafortunadamente, en 2020, a Sam (un jinete original (susurrador de caballos) durante toda su vida) le diagnosticaron una enfermedad potencialmente mortal y no puede caminar. Continúa siendo mariscal de campo, mientras Steph y las niñas dirigen el rancho con ayuda contratada y un par de work-aways de vez en cuando.

Su objetivo es compartir su pasión por los caballos enseñando a las personas, con la ayuda de los caballos, cómo comprenderlos y comunicarse mejor con ellos, estableciendo una asociación que conduzca a una forma de montar totalmente conectada. El cuerpo y la mente del caballo y del ser humano están conectados para moverse juntos en armonía. Algunos de sus caballos nacieron en el rancho y crecieron toda su vida en este paraíso, otros fueron rescatados. Todos disfrutan de libertad de espíritu y movimiento en un entorno idealista.
