Recently, our swim club was impacted by a tragic theft by our former treasurer, Lori Christy. It has been a difficult chapter — but it will not define us.
Because of the incredible support of our community, we have already raised over $2,500 toward rebuilding and stabilizing our program. We are deeply grateful. That early generosity has reminded us exactly why this team matters.
A swim club is more than practices and meets. It’s where kids learn discipline, accountability, and resilience. It’s early mornings that teach work ethic. It’s teammates learning to support one another. It’s confidence built one lap at a time. For many families, it provides structure, mentorship, and a positive place for kids to grow during critical years.
Strong youth programs create stronger communities. When kids are engaged, supported, and surrounded by positive role models, everyone benefits. Our swim team brings families together, builds lifelong friendships, promotes healthy lifestyles, and creates leaders who carry these lessons far beyond the pool.
We are committed to moving forward with transparency, unity, and renewed purpose. Continued funds will help restore essential resources, strengthen community outreach, provide financial assistance to families, and ensure every swimmer has the opportunity to participate.
We are rebuilding. We are resilient. And we are not done.
Thank you for believing in our swimmers and in the future of this club.
