Eilidh's Car Fund

My name is Christine Ashley, though most people who know me call me Eilidh (pronounced Ey-Lee). Over the last 20 years, I’ve faced some incredibly difficult battles — from surviving abuse and assault to enduring chronic medical challenges that have taken away much of my independence.

I initially started this GoFundMe with a dream of moving out of South Carolina to find a fresh start. But life had other plans. Recently, I was in a serious accident and lost my car — the one thing that gave me even the smallest sense of freedom and control over my life.

Now, my goal is to raise funds for a reliable vehicle. Ideally, something from Toyota, Chevy, or Mazda, which I know and feel comfortable driving. A vehicle capable of towing a camper would be a blessing, as it would open up new possibilities for me.
