UPDATE: As most of you know, the worst possible case occurred and Efren passed away yesterday, 7/14/21. In addition to the massive medical bills from this tragedy, and the loss of income (their fencing business paid the majority of the bills), Elvia now has the unimaginable task of planning his funeral. The goal has been increased once again, both to help keep Elvia out of work these next few difficult months and assist with funeral expenses. Efren suffered a serious stroke on 7/8/21 and had complications which led to a craniotomy to relieve brain swelling. Everyone who knows Efren and Elvia know how giving, loving and selfless they are. Most of their friends and family have been on the receiving end of their love and kindness on more than one occasion and now it is our turn to show our love and compassion to them. They are always helping those around them and they will now need our help, as their fencing business (which they are unable to run without Efren) paid most of the bills. Please consider helping them through this difficult part of their lives so that Elvia can concentrate on being with Efren during this time.

Efrén a sufrido un Paro 7/8/21 y tuvo complicaciones después de recibir una craneotomía para relajarle la presión en su cerebro. Todos los que conocen a Efrén y a Elvia saben cómo de generosos y cariñosos son. La mayoría de los amigos y familia an recibió el amor y amabilidad de ellos en más de una ocasión y ahora nos toca a nosotros a mostrar les nuestro amor y compasión para ellos.
