My name is Jamie and I am the fiance' to Efrain "Paco" Garcia. After meeting Efrain, I quickly learned that his story was one that was filled with countless tribulations, recently a battle with Ewings sarcoma, that he entered remission in, this January. This year has been an incredible year for us, for Efrains recovery, as he was working out, healing his body and his mind, and we were able to create so many beautiful memories in just the 6 months we have been together. Being so in-tune with his body and how he is feeling, Efrain unfortunately started having health struggles again just a few months ago. After much time of wondering to himself, and now through the clarity of different testing, we have discovered the devastating news that the cancer is back and it is in multiple locations in Efrains body (spine, rib, possible lung). This has been an absolute shock to everyone that loves Efrain and is close to him. He has just turned 33 years old this October. I ask that we all band together to pray for and strengthen Efrain in any way that we can. The prognosis for final stage Ewing sarcoma is not a good one. It is a painful bone cancer that robs patients of their freedom. God is the ultimate decider on what the future may hold, but I believe that Efrain needs our help as a community, through prayer, through donation, through spreading awareness so that the next person can and will take their health that much more seriously. I humbly ask everyone to spread this message in hopes that God can work a miracle in Efrains favor.
