Support efforts to establish MKP in Kenya and Ghana

This is to help me cover costs. Currently, I'm in the midst of my third trip to Africa to further establish the Mankind Project in both Nairobi, Kenya, and Accra, Ghana. Yesterday, we had the MKP Open Circle in Nairobi.

I met with the two key leaders there ahead of time. One of them has done the NWTA and also took the PIT training virtually with MKP Johannesburg. Any of you who've been around Mankind Project can tell that he is initiated after talking to him about his experiences for a few minutes. The NWTA and PIT training certainly moved him!

We had a 2.5-hour discussion before our group meeting to lay out a solid plan of how to attract men to be a part of "The Work" as we refer to MKP. I gave input with regards to structure and a program the men can go through after having sat in a men's circle for a certain period of time. Then after that, we can birth an I Group. Before doing that, I will send structure on how to do so. Of course, along the way, men will do the NWTA in South Africa or elsewhere.

The meeting went well! By looking at the pictures, you can see the men got something out of the notes by the pictures they took. We discussed feelings and I introduced them to shadow work to give them a taste.

It was followed by a discussion afterward. One of the two key leaders has done both the NWTA and the virtual PIT Training with MKP South Africa. He gave an excellent testimonial regarding what MKP is and can be. I will post this to Facebook if possible. It's a 5-minute video; hopefully, it will load.

Men were generally interested in everything he had to say. Discussion followed. They agreed on a day of the month that they will start meeting. A men's circle has been birthed in Nairobi!

Between airfare, shots, Ghana visa, visa postage, and Uber, this trip cost me $2,475. The majority of the Kenya trip I am paying on my own because, by coincidence, my sister and family live here.

However, I need help with covering costs for the Ghana portion of my trip and costs related to the Open Circle here in Nairobi.

I very much appreciate whatever you are able to donate. Whatever shortfall I incur will be my giveaway to getting this work established in these respective countries!

This has been a long process that started at the very end of 2018. Starting in April of 2020, the men of MKP Africa have been meeting once a month on Saturday mornings in a virtual men's group. We meet via Zoom because the men are spread out across four time zones. The men in Ghana have to be on the call at 6:30 Ghana time in order to participate! One of them even completed the 3-week series, The Men's Work. He and two other Ghanaians are committed to moving MKP forward! I will try to add some screenshots of those Zoom calls.

Thank you in advance for your support, and those of you who are in MKP, please share this in your MKP areas via your listserv and your social media!
