Our good friend Edwin was detained on Wednesday, July 23rd by ICE. He was in New York City for his court date, to obtain his residency legally. After his court hearing, he was leaving the courthouse and was taken by ICE. He has been transferred to several facilities where they are trying to force him to sign his deportation papers. If he signs, he will be deported and lose all his progress on obtaining his residency in America. We are raising money for lawyer fees in hopes to get Edwin out!
