Support Edwin’s fight against pancreatic cancer
Donation protected
Hello, recently my friends’ dad, Edwin, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. My family and his have known each other for a very long time and we want to help out anyway we can.
Edwin recently has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and it’s spreading quick. He will be starting chemotherapy, but the cancer has advanced rapidly and is now located in his colon, liver, and lungs. He is currently bed ridden because walking takes a toll on him, he has intense pain in his lower stomach from the cancer cells forming in the lower organs. He has trouble eating which causes him to lose more weight on top of what the illness already does because eating is painful for him. He gets full fast and although he’s hungry his stomach can’t handle more than just a few bites without causing him intense pain. He’s had to have stones removed from his bile duct, a blood transfusion since the cancer is causing his blood to thin out, and was recently hospitalized for a week bc his immune system was extremely weak and was low on all vitamins and nutrients bc he isnt getting enough through food or supplements, has had lots of fevers that weaken him even more , and he had blood clots forming bc sometimes he's too weak and in too much pain to get up and do much.
He’s a welder, has been for several years, but due to the illness advancing rapidly and him needing to start chemotherapy urgently to give him any chance at slowing down the cancer, he hasn’t been able to work and will have to be receiving treatments every 2 weeks if he wants any chance at slowing the cancer down.
Edwin is 48 yrs old and has three kids he looks out for. He had been very athletic and loved the outdoors. He used to play soccer and was a referee for kids soccer games. He also loves living on his ranch tending to his animals, especially his horse.
All the donations will be given to his family to pay for medical bills and any financial stress on the family.
Please help us raise some money for him and his family to get through this tough period. Any donations are welcome! Thank you for taking the time to help and share if possible.
