Support Edwin Mejia's Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved, Edwin Mejia, who left us on February 9, 2025, at 4:21 AM after a brave battle with cancer. He was the kindest, funniest, and most caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His life was defined by his unwavering dedication to those he loved—he always put everyone before himself, especially when they were in a time of need.
Edwin always had a smile on his face and a way of making everyone around him feel special. Whether you were a close friend or a stranger, he genuinely wanted to help and make a difference. His sense of humor was infectious, and he could light up any room with his warmth and laughter. For his family, he was a rock—always there when they needed him, and always ready to support with love and open arms.
Born in Ecuador, Edwin came to the United States with a dream of providing a better future for his family. He worked tirelessly alongside his loving wife, Sandra Mejia, to build a life that would give their children the opportunities they never had. Most of his life was spent in South Brunswick, NJ, before recently relocating to Bel Air, MD, to be closer to his daughters and grandchildren, where he could continue to spread his love and joy.
Edwin fought cancer with incredible strength and resilience. Though his battle was tough, he is finally at peace and no longer suffering. While we will miss him beyond words, we find comfort in knowing he is in a better place.
He leaves behind his wife, Sandra Mejia, his three children—Cristina, Valentina, and Mateo—and his five beautiful grandchildren, Remi, Louie, Vance, Rowan, and Kai. His love will live on through all of them.
In this time of sorrow, we are asking for your support to help this family with funeral expenses and to honor his memory. Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will help alleviate the financial burden as they navigate this difficult time. All donations will go directly towards Edwins family.
Thank you for all of your love, support, and prayers during this time of grief. Edwin’s legacy of kindness, love, and laughter will never be forgotten.
