This is Alan Smason, a longtime colleague of Edward Rubin, a theatre and arts critic from New York City and a member of the American Theatre Critics Association. After suffering a fall, Ed was hospitalized at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Hospital and later transferred to a skilled nursing facility. Currently, he is suffering from a number of serious and long-term medical issues confronting him and his two caretakers. We need your help to defray the cost of his medical care.
