This September 2024, Edward "Ed" Elias was diagnosed with stage 4 RCC Chromophobe, a rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer. Over the past few weeks, his health has declined, and as a result, he is not a suitable candidate for immunotherapy.

Before this heartbreaking diagnosis, Edward lived life to the fullest—as a devoted husband to Josephine "Pina" Elias, with whom he has shared more than 45 years of marriage. Both Edward and His wife share 3 kids Eric, Nikki, and Chris and 6 grandkids, Averey, Landin, Liam, Evan, Lucas, and Liella who he loves dearly.

Ed has been a hard working father and husband his entire life. He loved working and has helped so many people throughout his career. Ed was sought out by many for his caring demeanor and passion for helping his clients. He is loved and respected by everyone in his field of work that he has worked with throughout his life.

Ed has requested to be home to share his last memories with his family-cheering for his beloved USC Trojans with his brother Victor, celebrating LA Dodgers victories, the LA Kings with his best friend mark and Colts game in the comfort of his home.
