Story:
Hi, my name is Edward Duncan. In October of 2024, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer that affects the bone marrow. Though incurable, with the right treatment, the cancer can be controlled. After months of tests, chemotherapy, and emotional ups and downs, my doctors have recommended a stem cell transplant—a critical next step in my battle for survival.
The transplant will require a long hospital stay followed by months of recovery at home. During this time, I will be unable to work, and the financial strain on my family and myself would be overwhelming. Between medical bills, daily living expenses, and the cost of post-treatment support, I'm facing a tough road ahead.
I'm asking for your help that I might handle the financial burden ahead. Your donation, no matter the size, will help cover:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Transportation to and from treatment
Rent, utilities, and essential living costs while I'm unable to work
Nutrition and home care supplies critical to my recovery.
This journey has been incredibly difficult, but I am hopeful and committed to getting through it. If you’re unable to donate, kindly share this page with others.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with me during this time.
With love and gratitude,
Edward
