The school Mailyadewa Vidyalaya is a beacon of hope for children in Hingurugamuwa, a town in rural Sri Lanka where access to education often faces barriers due to limited resources. Despite the challenges, the students of this school, from 5 to 18 years old, exhibit an incredible thirst for knowledge and a determination to shape their futures through learning. Currently, the school lacks a computer lab and even basic supplies such as printers, paper, and chalk for the chalkboards. These kids don’t have access to computers in their homes either, so it is essential that they get access to technology at school, especially in today’s digital age. The lack of basic supplies is also a major issue for the school, and through your donations, I hope to help them get these supplies.
