Support Education for Ogoko Village Children
Donation protected
This is the school my husband went to in the village he grew up in. This is in Ogoko, Arua, Uganda in the most northern part of the country. These students pictured were the ones that were able to pay school fees (~$60/person/year) yet there are more than double that were unable to pay so they were sent home. While visiting for our traditional Ugandan wedding, my husband and I were able to donate books and pens to the students that were there. We want to raise money to be able to pay for all the students in the village to get an education. The school needs repairs and the head teacher needs an office (it is currently just a desk outside under a tree) and they need new latrine but we want to at least get the kids there and in school. We can work on raising money for the other things at a later time. There are about 200 kids in the village so we are raising $13,000 to cover school fees for a whole year for all the kids. Thank you in advance for any donations and prayers!
