Help My Nieces in Turkey Stay in School - Taken from school to work in a factory before age 14, now they dream of finishing high school and attending university.
Hi everyone,
My name is Nuray, and I’m raising money for my four nieces in Turkey who are currently in high school and need support for their education expenses.
Their mothers are farmers and house wife mom to 8 kids with no income, and sadly, their father took my nieces out of school and sent them to work in an orange factory, taking their earnings for himself something that unfortunately happens to many girls in the village.
They worked and slept in very poor conditions at the factory for almost four years, doing child labor. Thankfully, my older brother was able to rescue them and help them return to school. Thanks to his effort, they are back in high school now, but it’s still a daily struggle to afford their basic needs.
We have been helping them as much as we can, but we need some extra support to cover their school expenses such as books, bus fare, hygiene products, food, house utilities, and groceries.
If you would like to make a donation, any amount will make a big difference in their lives. Even small help will go a long way for my nieces in Turkey.
When I lost my parents in middle school, I was only able to attend university thanks to the kindness of people who supported me. Their generosity changed my life. Now, I want to give the same opportunity to my nieces to help them finish high school and go to university one day.
Your donation will help them stay safe, continue their education, and focus on school until they find part-time work to support themselves. All four girls are under 18 and full of hope for a better future.
If you’re thinking of making a Thanksgiving or holiday donation, please consider helping these four girls continue their education and dreams.
Why You Should Donate
Donating to support these four girls means more than helping them finish high school and go to university. it’s about inspiring change in their community.
I grew up in a very conservative village in Turkey, where most girls were not allowed to continue their education. But my father believed in education and sent me and my two sisters to school despite the social pressure around him. Because of that courage, we all graduated from university and became role models for other girls in the village.
After seeing our success especially my story of moving to another country, learning a new language, traveling the world, marrying a kind and supportive person, and becoming an independent woman many families started to believe that educating their daughters could also lead to a better life.
That’s why I believe so strongly in the power of education to transform not just one life, but entire generations. If these four girls finish school and build their future, they will become the next example of what’s possible for girls in their community. Your donation can help make that happen.
Every dollar will directly support them.
Thank you so much for reading and caring.
With gratitude,
Nuray
