Support Education for Low-Income Students in Panama

I am raising money to help 2 young people pay for college in Panama. College is not too expensive here but when most people only make $20 per day, $1,500 for college is a lot! My plan is to give a scholarship of $1,500 to 2 upstanding students who come from a very low income, single parent family. These will also most likely be the first people in their family to attend university. Anything you can give to help these students attend university will be greatly appreciated. I will also send the money directly to the university they attend so the money is used only to pay for school tuition. If I receive more than the required amount for tuition, I will use the extra funds to help pay for their lodging or food or for a bus/metro pass to get to and from the chosen university.
