Support Education for Kasane's Brave Students

I met these kids at a school near Kasane, Botswana, near a safari lodge. Our guide, GB, took us to the nearby school where we interacted with the students during recess. Some of the students walk a mile to school in the countryside with apex predators such as lions and leopards and study English. The kids were fascinated to talk to us and learn our names. GB explained to us that the school needs books to stock their library.

I have collected some books from my Rotary club and have purchased some from a used bookstore. I now have 55 pounds of books. It costs about $2200 to ship 55 pounds to Kasane, Botswana via DHL. It kills me to know that with USAID being dismantled, these kids will be in greater danger of getting AIDS and being hungry. The school is their way to a better life. I hope you can help.
