Hi, my name is Amalfi Eguren De Bouchane. I was born in the Dominican Republic and now live in the United States. My greatest passion is serving others—being a vessel of God’s love to meet the needs of those in vulnerable situations.

I truly believe in the transformative power of education. A backpack filled with school supplies is more than just a bag—it’s a door to learning, confidence, and a brighter future. No child should miss school simply because they don’t have the basic materials they need.

Every summer, countless families in the Dominican Republic face the heartbreaking reality of not being able to afford school supplies for their children. I’ve seen it firsthand. That’s why I’m launching this heartfelt campaign: to raise funds and donate backpacks with school supplies to children in need in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Hola, mi nombre es Amalfi Eguren De Bouchane. Nací en República Dominicana y actualmente resido en Estados Unidos. Mi mayor pasión es servir, tender la mano, y ser instrumento de Dios para llevar esperanza a quienes más lo necesitan.

Creo profundamente en el poder transformador de la educación. Una mochila con útiles no es solo un conjunto de objetos: es una puerta abierta al aprendizaje, a la autoestima y al futuro. Ningún niño debería quedarse en casa o sentirse menos por no tener lo necesario para ir a la escuela.

Cada verano, muchas familias dominicanas viven la angustia de no poder costear los materiales escolares de sus hijos. Lo he visto de cerca. Por eso, nace esta campaña con el corazón: para recaudar fondos y entregar mochilas llenas de útiles escolares a niños y niñas de escasos recursos en Puerto Plata, República Dominicana.
