Three years ago, my dad, Eduardo Esparza, suffered a heart attack. Since then, life has never been the same for him or for our family.

After the heart attack, he has had to return to the emergency room multiple times because his heart has not fully recovered. His condition requires constant care, and unfortunately, his doctors have made it very clear that he can no longer return to the work he used to do.

Before this happened, Eduardo worked in construction. His job required long hours under the sun and heavy physical labor. Now, due to his heart condition, he is not allowed to work in the heat or lift heavy objects. This means he cannot go back to the only work he has known his whole life.

Since then, he has been without a job and without income.

This has been incredibly hard on him. There are days when he feels frustrated and stressed, not because he doesn’t want to work, but because he physically can’t. What hurts him the most is not being able to provide for his family like he used to.

As a family, we are doing everything we can, but the financial pressure and emotional stress are overwhelming. Right now, our biggest priority is his health. We want to make sure he gets the care, treatment, and peace of mind he needs to recover and avoid further complications.
