Hi all family and friends.. I am Ed's daughter, Emily and my brother, Eddie would like go start a gofundme account to help my mom and dad during this difficult time.

As many of you know, dad received his 1st liver transplant in 2017. This year, dad celebrated 10 years of sobriety.

Unfortunately, last May, dad started to have some complications that lead to multiple and frequent hospital stays, testing, and doctor appointments. Doctors told us that the only cure for this complication would be for a new liver transplant. After months of waiting, our 2nd gift of life came and dad received his transplant May 28th. After 20 hours of OR time, he still remains in very critical condition however the team is pleased at how far he has came in the last 12-24 hours..

Knowing that this is going to be an extensive surgery and recovery period, our family is asking for continued prayers not only for Dad, but the whole family, the doctors and nurses who are working endlessly, and the donors family - because of there generous donation, we get another day with Dad.

Dad is down at UPenn in Philly which is at least a 2 hour drive, or 1.5 hr train ride. Any donations received will go to mom and dad to help pay for gas, train tickets, medical bills, and anything else needed for dad to make a full recovery.
