Support for Ed's Family After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
On October 6th, our family experienced the tragic and devastating loss of one of the most amazing men in this world, Ed Coppersmith. Ed was a beloved father to Ted and Travis, a loving partner to June, an amazing big brother to Audrey and Angela, a caring son to Ken, a much-loved grandfather to many grandchildren, and a wonderful uncle to all his nephews and niece. He was the hardest-working man anyone has ever known. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, even until the very end. He selflessly risked his life to rescue all of his horses from a fire suffering severe burns, but successfully saved all 16 horses. He later succumbed to his injuries at a burn unit in Colorado.
We are asking for help to cover some of the cost of the cremation and bringing Ed back home, to help cover some of the expenses for what was lost in the fire, and to take care of his horses which was Ed's dream and what he had worked hard to build for many years. Ed always gave generously to his neighbors and friends, and we are asking for you to assist our family in this extremely difficult time. Ed was everything to his family, and his family, who is now facing this new reality, needs all of our help like Ed would have done for all of us. Thank you for your prayers, kind words, and generosity as our family tries to navigate through this tragedy. The world just lost a very great man.
