Hi y’all, My name is Elizabeth and I’m running this GoFundMe on behalf of my parents Rowena and Edrian, two lovely people who need some help from their community of friends old and new.

‘My dad Edrian has been undergoing chemo therapy for stage 4 colon cancer for the last two years while continuing to work multiple jobs until a few short months ago when his health took a sharp decline.

My mother has been working full time and part time… all the time actually to maintain the life saving health insurance keeping my dad in treatment.

While caring for my father, my mother sustained an injury to her wrist that seemed minor but now needs surgical intervention to prevent pain and long term damage to the nerves. Adjacent to that, we have just learned that her full time factory job will be shutting down in late November.

I am asking on behalf of myself, my little sister, and my parents for any support that folks are able to provide for basic necessities like rent, gas, food, medicines, while my mother heals from surgery and looks for another position.
