My name is Edmund, and I am reaching out because I am facing one of the most difficult times in my life. I have been diagnosed with lung cancer, and the pain has become overwhelming, especially when it spreads to my ribs and back. The treatments are intense, and I have to travel back and forth to the City of Hope for chemotherapy and other therapies. The strong pain medication I am on makes it impossible for me to drive, and I am unable to work or manage many of my daily tasks on my own.

This journey has been long and exhausting, both physically and emotionally. My insurance only covers 80% of my medical expenses, leaving me responsible for the remaining 20%. On top of that, I need help with travel costs, food, and basic daily needs. I also need to hire someone to help me out twice a week, as I can’t do everything by myself anymore. It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for help, but I am at the end of my rope and truly need support.
