Hi, my name is Stephen, and I’m raising funds for my dear friend Edmundo, who is facing a life-threatening emergency.

On July 12, 2025, Edmundo was involved in a tragic and unexpected workplace accident in Calgary, and seriously injuired his head. He was rushed to the hospital and is now in the ICU in a medically induced coma following emergency surgery. His condition remains critical with serious brain injury, and doctors say further surgeries will be needed if he stabilizes.

Edmundo has spent the last 15 years working hard in Calgary. He sends most of his income home to the Philippines to support his wife and two sons, prioritizing their education and well-being. This devastating accident has turned their world upside down.

Edmundo has no immediate family here in Canada apart from his younger brother - Jay. His wife and children are still in the Philippines, heartbroken and desperate to be with him during this critical time.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Travel and visa expenses to bring his wife and sons to Calgary

• Temporary living costs and daily needs while they're here

• Emergency support for Edmundi and his family during recovery
