The El Sereno Community Care Collective is sharing a community support campaign for one of our beloved members and vendors, Edith!

Not only is Edith an amazing chef, keeping us nourished in our daily fight to end ice terror and keep each other safe, she is also a valued member of the LA Tenants Union Lincoln Heights local!

Unfortunately, Edith's Cancer has returned and she has been in treatment but will need to undergo surgery soon which will make it hard for her to provide for her family and daily living costs. While the rent is due and the bills need to be paid, she is occuring more costs to continue her fight against cancer.

She is an essential part of our communities and we want to make sure she has what she needs while in recovery. Please donate to keep her housed, her bills paid, her family nourished and to keep her safe so she can recover peacefully.

¡El Colectivo de Cuidado Comunitario El Sereno está compartiendo una campaña de apoyo comunitario para una de nuestras queridas miembros y vendedoras, Edith!

Edith no solo es una chef increíble, que nos mantiene alimentados en nuestra lucha diaria para acabar con el terror del la migra y mantenernos a salvo, sino que también es una valiosa miembro de el Sindicato de Inquilinos de Los Ángeles, local de Lincoln Heights.

Desgraciadamente, el cáncer de Edith ha vuelto y, aunque ha estado en tratamiento, pronto tendrá que someterse a una operación, lo que le dificultará mantener a su familia y subrir los gastos diarios. Mientras que el alquiler vence y las facturas hay que pagarlas, ella está incurriendo en más gastos para continuar su lucha contra el cáncer.
