Over the past week, what started as subtle breathing changes quickly turned into a medical emergency. Edgar was diagnosed with severe lung disease and is currently hospitalized in an oxygen chamber at the Animal Emergency Clinic of Northwest Arkansas, receiving intensive care around the clock. His condition has been serious and unpredictable, and the veterinary team is doing everything they can to help him get better and come home to us.

To give Edgar the best possible chance, we’ve had to make the decision to move forward with lifesaving care (including emergency hospitalization, advanced imaging, oxygen support, medications, etc). The costs have added up so rapidly that we cannot keep up. We ’ve taken on debt through CareCredit to continue his treatment, but we still need more to get him through the next round of antibiotics and keep him on oxygen.
