Hi all,

On April 30 2024, my father (Edgar) arrived from work and prepared himself to go on his usual afternoon walk around the neighborhood. At 7:50 pm of that same day, he was crossing the street when a distracted driver, who was on the phone, hit him with his car. This incident resulted in bodily injuries being a fractured tibia and minor contusions. He has undergone one of two surgeries at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Unfortunately, health insurance won't cover hospitalization, ambulance transportation or ER services.

I've created this GoFundMe, with the aim to raise funds to help cover these unexpected expenses. (The ambulance ride alone is estimated to be $6,000) There is no price for life, or a broken leg, there's no price for the smile this reckless drive took from him, but any amount, no matter how small it is, will have a huge impact.
