Support Edgar’s fight against Leukemia, a type of cancer.

On September 13, 2024 Edgar and his family’s world turned upside down. Edgar, just 15 years old, was diagnosed with Leukemia and has been courageously battling ever since. What started with lower back pain and fatigue quickly led to a diagnosis that no family ever wants to receive. Since then, Edgar and his family have been facing countless long hospital stays, treatments, and the daily uncertainty that comes with fighting this disease.

During this time his mom (Juana) hasn’t been able to work. She needs to be by Edgar’s side every step of his treatment. Edgar is now facing complications in both of his knees. He has had 5 surgeries on his left knee due to Klebsiella CRE and Osteomyelitis, and his right knee is facing Avascular Necrosis (AVN). He’s been hospitalized since August 15, 2025 due to his knee problems, while being connected to a PCA pump to help control his pain.

-Everyday living expenses as we navigate this journey
