Honoring the Life of Edgardo Andujar Martinez, a husband, father, grandpa, and a great friend

As many of you know, my father, Edgardo Andujar Martinez, was diagnosed with ALS three years ago. His battle was long and hard, but throughout it all, he remained an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone he encountered. His impact on the lives of those around him is immeasurable, and he will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who knew him.

With the heaviest heart, we must share that my father passed away on February 15th, 2025. In this difficult time, our family is focused on honoring his life and navigating the grief of our loss. Unfortunately, the costs of funeral arrangements have added a heavy burden.

As a result, we’ve set up this GoFundMe to help with the funeral expenses. My mother, Holly Thompson, his wife of 26 years, had to step down from her job to care for him in his final years, leaving our family in a challenging financial position. Any contribution, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and help ease the burden during this heartbreaking time.
