Eddy, who is just 16 years old, was involved in a devastating accident when he was hit by a drunk driver while riding his bike. In an instant, our lives changed. Eddy’s left foot was completely crushed, and we rushed him to the hospital, hoping for the best. After a thorough examination, the doctors gave us heartbreaking news: they couldn’t save his leg, and it would need to be amputated. Our family is still in shock, but we are doing everything we can to support Eddy through this incredibly difficult time.
