Eddy, a beloved figure who works in MacArthur Park was severely impacted by the Eaton Canyon Fires in Altadena earlier this year. During the evacuation, Eddy only packed his essentials and his dog. What was supposed to be a temporary evacuation has become permanent as he lost his home and belongings in the fire.

Eddy has worked with numerous organizations across the Los Angeles area providing safety and security to any individual seeking support, services, or directions. There is not one person in our block who doesn’t know Eddy. He is that much of a pillar in our community.

We have been doing everything we can to support his well-being but, we know we can’t do this alone. The recovery process will be long, and we know we can help Eddy find his footing again with the right amount of support. No donation is too small.
