My name is Giovanni ‘Jules’ Martinez. I am the cousin of Cosme Edoardo “Eddie” Luis Iriarte. My cousin Eddie was tragically murdered over Christmas Weekend on December 27th, 2025.

My cousin Eddie was born on October 6th, 1996. Eddie loved to cut hair, play soccer, crack jokes, and spend time with his family and friends. He was fighting to overcome his ongoing struggle with addiction and became a victim of gun violence due to the careless actions of two people.

Eddie was a fighter, always trying to constantly improve his life, and he always lightened up the room with his kind smile and light. He is survived by his father, Cosme Luis Antonio; his mother, Elvira Iriarte; his brother, Jose Luis Iriarte; and his son.

I am helping my uncle to raise funds for my cousin’s funeral and any associated costs. My uncle has Parkinson’s disease and is currently unable to work due to his condition. Any funds raised will be used to pay for my cousin’s funeral service and support my uncle.
