Eddie Olalde is a student at Princeton high school in Princeton Texas. Eddie has worked hard over the last three years in Mr. Merritt Johnson’s construction class learning to perfect his masonry skills. In 2024 Eddie competed in the Texas State skillsUSA competition and placed second in masonry amongst about 40 kids throughout the state. This year in 2025 Eddie competed again against 40 kids throughout the state and he placed FIRST in the Texas state skillsUSA masonry competition. Eddie now has the chance to compete in nationals for masonry and represent Princeton High School. Eddie is a very, very good kid and a very hard-working individual who strives to succeed and this is something that could help him in the future.
