Support Eddie Bainer's Recovery Journey

Hi everyone my sister Taylor & I are starting a Go Fund Me for our parents. Our dad, Eddie Bainer, went to work Monday morning and started not feeling too well. He suddenly got severe pain in his lower neck, broke out in a sweat, and was very dizzy, so his coworker called an ambulance for him! Upon arrival, his blood pressure was very high in the 200’s. After they got him to Waynesburg Hospital they did a CT scan, and found a brain bleed so they ended up flying him over to UPMC Presby where they did more CT/MRIs while trying to get his high BP under control.

He had an angiogram Tuesday morning that showed he had a Ruptured Brain Aneurysm at the bottom of his brain into his spinal fluid. The surgeon said that it was a benign hemorrhage and odds of it happening again are slim to none! So he’s going to be in the hospital for a while being closely monitored/healing! He’s in a lot of pain with the amount of blood that’s gathered in there, but he’s been doing good while they’ve been monitoring him! He's currently admitted into the ICU as the first 7 days are the most critical, he has to get continuous monitoring and imaging/scans to make sure he’s progressing in the direction they want him to.

This was completely unexpected as he will be staying for at least 3 weeks at the hospital to be monitored. We don’t know when he can return to work, and Tina is spending every second she can by his side, so we’re just looking to relieve the financial burden on them.

He will continue to have CT scans, medical bills, and expenses on gas and food in the following weeks.
