Support Eddie and Morty's Urgent Medical Care

My ferret (Eddie) and rabbit (Morty) are currently facing simultaneous health issues.

Eddie has an enlarged spleen and cystic abdominal lymph nodes. He has undergone several diagnostics (ultrasound, splenic cytology, abdominal fluid cytology, abdominal lymph node cytology) without definitive results indicating the cause. Based on other clinical signs the vet suspects he may have lymphoma (lymphatic cancer), but more diagnostics are required to rule out other causes for his symptoms.

Morty has an abscess in his left cheek impacting his teeth. My primary veterinarian is unable to perform the surgery that he requires to drain the abscess and remove affected teeth. I have looked through several clinics that can provide the care that he needs and settled on a clinic in Indiana that quoted $1,500-$3,000 (lowest estimate I could find) for his procedure.

So far, I have spent roughly $1,500 in vet bills to find out what is wrong with my babies. I expect to spend at least $2,000 more for Morty’s surgery and Eddies treatment, but it is likely to cost more. Before either of them began showing signs of illness, I felt financially stable enough to buy a home. Because of this my savings that is typically used for veterinary emergencies is tied up in closing costs and down payment. Both of them experiencing expensive health issues at the same time has made financing their treatments difficult.
