Life can change in an instant, and right now my friend is doing everything he can to stay strong through an incredibly difficult situation. Recently, the apartment complex my friend Edd was living in suffered major roofing issues, and residents were given only 10 days to move out. With almost no time to prepare, he suddenly found himself without a home. Thankfully, a family friend stepped in and offered him a temporary place to stay, but it’s only a short-term solution while he works to rebuild and find a place of his own again.

At the same time, the car he depends on every day is breaking down. It currently has a leaking gas tank, failing transmission, a slight oil leak, and a power steering leak, making it unsafe and unreliable to drive. Without a dependable vehicle, it becomes even harder for him to get to work, handle daily responsibilities, and move forward after losing his home.

We’re hoping to raise $10,000 to help him replace his car with something safe and reliable. Any remaining funds will go toward helping him save for a new apartment and the upfront costs of getting back into a stable living situation. He’s a hardworking person who has always tried to handle things on his own, but sometimes life hits harder than expected.
