Support Ed Palino's Fight Against Rare Cancer

Hello. I’m raising money for my good friend and coworker Ed Palino. For 6 months, he’s been having stomach pains, low appetite, and losing weight rapidly. He saw several doctors for months who couldn’t find anything wrong. Then, just a week ago, he was diagnosed with Mucinous Adenocarcinoma (MAC), which is a rare cancer. It’s a tumor attached to his pancreas. He’s starting chemotherapy this week.

Ed is a hard worker, and we are fortunate that our company has good insurance. However, he will be taking a considerable amount of time off for his treatments. He’s also the sole breadwinner of his family. His unpaid leave will deeply affect his finances for rent, food, transportation, etc.

My goal is to raise money so that he can concentrate on himself and his treatment/recovery. I know Ed well enough that he would work through the pain and suffering to make ends meet. I’d rather him put 100% effort into fighting this battle than worry about his next paycheck to cover basic necessities.

Please, if you can contribute in any way, it’s greatly appreciated. 100% of funds raised will go directly to him weekly. This campaign is done with his permission, but I approached him with the idea. He didn’t ask for this, but I know enough people care about him and would like to help in any small way possible.
