We love how elegant Earth is... and we're on a mission to protect it by bringing eco-friendly funeral arrangements to Tennessee.
There's a new innovation in the final disposition of a loved one's body that doesn't damage the Earth. It is called terramation — a natural, sustainable alternative to cremation and burial (happening now in 14 states).
Traditional burials take up space and rely on steel, concrete, hardwood, and embalming chemicals that remain in the ground indefinitely. Cremation involves incinerating the body at nearly 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit, consuming large amounts of fossil fuels and releasing greenhouse gases into the air. The process is not only environmentally costly but also physically harsh.
Terramation, by contrast, allows the body to return gently and naturally to the Earth, creating clean, nutrient-rich soil that can nourish gardens, restore forests, and support new life. Instead of leaving pollution behind, terramation allows your loved one’s last act on Earth to be one of giving back.
Please join us on this critical mission to pass legislation in Tennessee in the Spring of 2026, so that we can find terramation services locally instead of going out of state. Funds raised will support a campaign to raise awareness, draft legislation, and bring terramation to TN. This is so important.
Please share this link with your network so the word gets out about this opportunity to do something truly good for the Earth while reducing harmful funeral practices.
For more information about the terramation process and to stay informed about when it will be available, please go to www.Dust2Dust.Life and add your email to our news and updates list. Even if you can't support financially, sign up to support the legislation.
About Us: My name is Mark McCaw. I along with my colleagues are deeply-rooted Tennesseans shaped by service, community, and a deep respect for the natural world. Our experience spans the funeral industry, nonprofit leadership, and small-business entrepreneurship, and our work has always been guided by faith, compassion, and a desire to care for both people and creation.
As eco-minded business owners, we believe in finding solutions that honor life while helping restore the earth we all share. This fundraiser was born from this commitment—to offer families a gentle, meaningful alternative that reflects our values and contributes to a healthier Tennessee for generations to come.
