Hi all, my name is Xanihya. I was blessed with finding my soul dog early into adulthood. Many of my friends have only known me to have echo by my side. The sweetest, most loving and energetic, five-year-old Australian Shepherd.

It’s with very sad news to have to make this. On September 29, we noticed swelling in Echo’s legs, which prompted us to bring him to the vet immediately. After many tests and bloodwork, the vet gave us the heartbreaking news that my Echo’s condition is consistent with lymphoma.

Lymphoma is an aggressive cancer that takes over the body within days to weeks. In just two days we could already see how this diagnosis was taking over echo’s spark.

On October 1st, we had the privilege of consulting with an oncologist who got Echo started on chemotherapy immediately. As many of you know, or can assume, this can be a very costly procedure that will take us a few months to get through.

Echo is so young and energetic, he is full of love and he’s only ever known happiness. We hope that through this fight we can give him the time that he deserves. His body is strong and he’s not ready to give up yet.

I made this post in hopes that friends and family, or strangers who find it in their kind heart, can help us put money together to keep Echo alive. To help us give him a few more years.
