Support Echo Alford's Critical Care

Dear Friends and Family, our beloved Jaqi Echo Alford suffered from a sudden, unexpected and catastrophic illness last month, and is now in the fight of their lives, critically ill and on life support and in need of your prayers. This GoFundMe has been set up to support Echo’s family while Echo is critically ill, and especially to support Echo’s son Colton, as the family navigates this incredibly difficult time, including mounting expenses.

Echo is one of the most amazing people on this planet- true friend, brilliant artist, activist, mother, and community leader. They selflessly give their time and energy to stand up for social justice, human rights, and the health of our community. Through Echo’s work in the community, dozens of residents living around refineries and incinerators have received free air monitors at their homes. Echo also co-authored a study on environmental health and cumulative impacts with Johns Hopkins University researchers, and Echo has been a champion for legislation that would protect our communities from further harm. They are also in the process of establishing two new green infrastructure park installments in frontline communities that desperately need more green spaces.
