Help Me Achieve My Dream: Completing My First Ironman

Hi, my name is Ebtehal, and I’m reaching out to you to help make a lifelong dream come true.

Growing up as a young girl in Saudi Arabia, sports for women weren’t part of our schools. Despite this, my family gave me a priceless gift—they taught me how to swim. I still remember watching women in the Olympics and inspiring sports movies, marveling at their determination and strength. From a young age, I dreamed of being like them someday.

Now, at 43 years old, I am determined to make that dream a reality by completing my first Ironman on September 28, 2025, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Ironman is one of the most challenging endurance events in the world, combining a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run. While this will be my first attempt, I am fully committed to giving it everything I’ve got.

This journey is more than just a race for me—it’s about building bridges through each race, one race at a time. It’s a symbol of breaking barriers and inspiring others to pursue their dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem.

I’ve already taken the first step by registering for the race through a payment plan. Now, I need your support to help cover the costs of training, travel, nutrition, and gear. With your generosity, I’ll be able to dedicate myself to the rigorous preparation required for this monumental event.

Registration and Triathlon License: $927.61

Coaching: $3,000

Gear and Nutrition: $2,070
