My name is Khatima, together with Rana, we are creating this fundraiser for a family we supported in 2023.
Ebrahim is a 24-year-old husband, father, and hardworking DoorDash driver. While working a night shift in Reno and driving home to Sacramento, he tragically fell asleep at the wheel and hit a tree. He has been in a coma for the past two weeks, and doctors have now told him he is paralyzed. Ebrahim is currently being transferred to Redding for further treatment and rehabilitation. Ebrahim is the proud father of two young children, just 1 and 5 years old, and a loving husband. His wife has been doing everything she can to be by his side, but she doesn’t drive and has been relying on friends to take her back and forth to visit him. She urgently needs to get her driver’s license and a reliable car so she can care for her husband and children during this incredibly difficult time. We are asking for your support to help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, and transportation needs for his wife, in addition to daily living costs for their young family.
