On July 5th, at what was supposed to be a peaceful community event — “Peace in the Hood” — our dear friend Eboni was tragically shot in the knee leaving her with a bullet left inside her. What was meant to be a night of unity ended in violence leaving her with medical bills and a long road of rehab and therapy.

Eboni is a strong, hardworking single mother of four, anyone who knows her will tell you she’s the kind of person without thinking twice open up her door to anybody in help . Now she needs our help. With her recovery ahead she won’t be able to work for a while leaving bills still needing to be paid, and her four children start school in August.

We’re asking our community to come together and support Eboni during this difficult time. Everything will go directly toward helping her and her children stay afloat while she focuses on healing.
