We are raising money on behalf of the Dekalb County Professional Firefighters for our sister in service, Eboni Kennedy, who was tragically and severely injured in a vehicle accident while responding to a call.

During the response, the fire engine Eboni was riding in was involved in a devastating crash, leaving all three firefighters injured. Eboni, however, suffered the most serious trauma. Her injuries resulted in the amputation of one of her legs, along with several other injuries that will require multiple surgeries and a long, challenging recovery ahead.

Eboni is a fighter—both on the job and in life. She has an incredible support system of family, friends, and fellow firefighters who are standing with her every step of the way. But right now, she needs all of us. The physical, emotional, and financial burden she faces is heavy, and our help can make a meaningful difference.
