Our 19-month-old son, Easton Dirienzo, has been through more than most kids his age. Earlier this year, he faced a series of health challenges, including bowel issues and walking pneumonia, which meant frequent doctor visits and hospital stays. Recently, we learned that Easton has Primum ASD, a congenital heart defect that will require open heart surgery. While his surgery date isn’t set yet, we know the road ahead will be long and uncertain.
Easton is a bright, joyful little boy who loves trucks, cars, and reading books with us every night. He’s happiest when he’s surrounded by family, and his resilience inspires us every day. As parents, Amanda and I are preparing to take time off work to care for Easton during his surgery and recovery. Our family, including grandparents who will help care for our other child, is coming together to support him, but the financial strain is significant.
We’re raising funds to help cover Easton’s medical bills, travel expenses for appointments, lost income from time off work, and the many follow-up visits he’ll need. Any support will help us focus on Easton’s healing and keep our family together during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with us and helping Easton get the care he needs.
