Of all people, this weekend, Oct. 4th, I’m participating (notice I did not say “running?”) in the “Superhero Hustle” for Easterseals. It’s an organization that has come to mean a lot to me simply because of the impact it has had on some of my friends and their mission. Their mission:
“To create solutions that change the lives of children and adults with disabilities, their families, and their communities.”
Plain and simple. It is an organization that also helps Veterans, another group I think highly of.
The last time I asked for money was during COVID when the DOD required all soldiers to wear masks yet did not supply them. I asked for a lot and friends gave more. “Thank you” will never be enough.
This time I am asking only for $100, not much to some, but a lot to those who count on Easterseals’ and their programs.
So if you can, or would like to, please donate, any amount, and even if you don’t donate, look up Easterseals and learn about this tremendous organization.
As in the past, thank you for your support.
