Hello, my name is Mary Reyes. My son Colin Reyes is a member of the 4X100 relay team for Eastbrook High School. This team made up of Damion Blevins, Gary Cook, Ciaran Moeschberger, and Colin Reyes set school record after school record and was Sectional Champions, Regional Runner-Up, and placed 18th at the Indiana IHSAA State Tournament with a school record time of 42.749. This time awarded them Championship Elite status for the Adidas Nationals. These boys are registered to compete on 06/21/25. Since 3 of the 4 are Juniors and dream of competing in college level athletics, this type of recognition and competition could be life changing for these young men. This team has put in the work this season and PR'd each time they raced. They are so committed to each other, that even though my son's graduation was the same day/time as the State competition he chose to compete for his team. To my knowledge, this is the first time in Eastbrook High School history to have a team qualify for Championship Elite Status on the National level. Since this is not a school funded competition, there are some expenses associated. I am asking for community support to get these boys to Nationals and represent our small Grant County community. There are travel, food, and lodging expenses for coaches, chaperone, and the team. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!
